THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES DELIVER MAMMOGRAPH MACHINE TO PARACIN HOSPITAL AND ATTEND CITY CELEBRATION

Belgrade, 27 September 2009 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine, together with Professor Alexander Margulis from New York, Dr Tomislav Stantic, State Secretary of the Ministry of health and HE Mr. Alexander Konuzin, Russian Ambassador to Serbia attended a celebration for Paracinday. After the ceremony held in the Theatre of Paracin they visited Paracin hospital and delivered a mammography machine, a donation from SofMedica and Mrs Katerina Sofianou, a friend of Their Royal Highnesses.

“Today is a good opportunity to remember the history of the City of Paracin, but also to look to the future. Special awards were given to prominent citizens of Paracin today, and I want to congratulate you. Your accomplishments should be an example and inspiration to all the citizens of Paracin. In these times of economic crisis we have to work harder and better” said HRH Crown Prince Alexander II while addressing members of the City Council of Paracin and the laureates.

HRH Crown Princess Katherine In her address during the ceremony of the official delivery of mammography machine emphasized: “Breast cancer is a serious disease, but it can be successfully treated if detected on time. I wish that you use this precious machine for the benefit of all women of Paracin and this region”.
