HRH CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER II RECEIVES SPECIAL
DIPLOMA FROM THE CRIMINAL POLICE ACADEMY IN THE SERBIAN PARLIAMENT
Belgrade, 2 October 2009 – His Royal Highness
Crown Prince Alexander II attended today an official ceremony in the
Serbian Parliament on the occasion of Day of Criminal Police Academy
and the promotion of new classes of graduates.
This ceremony was attended by H.E. Prof. Dr
Slavica Djukic Dejanovic, Speaker of Serbian Parliament, H.E. Mr.
Ivica Dacic, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the
Interior, H.E. Mr. Dragan Sutanovac, Minister of Defence, HE Mr.
Jovan Krkobabic, Deputy Prime Minister, H.E. Dr Zarko Obradovic,
Minister of Education, His Grace Bishop of Hvostano Atanasije, Prof.
Dr Branko Kovacevic, Rector of Belgrade University, H.E. Mr.
Alexander Konuzin, Ambassador of the Russian Federation, and many
distinguished guests including members of Diplomatic corps.
HRH Crown Prince Alexander II received a special
diploma for his efforts and support to the Criminal Police Academy
and thanked the Academy on behalf of laureates: “Please allow me to
thank you personally and on behalf of all of us who received this
award. I would like to congratulate all the best students, your
professors and your Dean on the Day of the Academy. Your Academy is
very a important institution for the security of our country. Serbia
needs well educated and a well trained police force, and you are the
elite of this very demanding profession”.
H.E. Mr. Ivica Dacic, First Deputy Prime Minister
and Minister of the Interior, said: “The Criminal Police Academy is
recognized as a developer of the educational system of values with
our youth and in that regard it supports a more stable state on the
path of European integration”. After the speech he congratulated all
students for completing their studies and whished them much success
in life, as well as for their professional carrier.
H.E. Dr Zarko Obradovic, Minister of Education
said: “First of all I would like to congratulate the best students
and point out the importance of the awards they received. The
Criminal Police Academy is important in our society and our
expectations from you are very high. In your future engagements we
mainly expect you will defeat criminals and corruption in our
society”.
The twelfth and thirteenth Classes of Police
Academy, and thirty fifth and thirty sixth Classes of College for
Internal Affairs were officially promoted at today’s ceremony. |
