CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER II AND CROWN PRINCESS
KATHERINE HOST WORKING BREAKFAST FOR MEMBERS OF AMERICAN CHAMBER OF
COMMERCE IN SERBIA
Belgrade, 6 October 2009 - Their Royal Highnesses
Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine hosted a
Working breakfast for members of the American Chamber of Commerce in
Serbia (AmCham), today at the White Palace.
Guests were addressed by HRH Crown Prince
Alexander II, Mr. Skip Bornhuetter, President of Board of Governors
of AmCham Serbia and Mr. Dusan Babac, member of the Privy Council.
HRH Crown Prince Alexander II greeted the guests
and emphasized: "I am pleased that we have gathered here at the
White Palace, in a friendly and unofficial atmosphere, to discuss
very important topics, such as Serbian economic development, foreign
and domestic investments and improvement of business cooperation in
general. I am willing to offer you my assistance and support to
improve the situation further in all of these areas".
Mr. Skip Bornhuetter, President of Board of
Governors of AmCham Serbia thanked Their Royal Highnesses for
organizing this meeting and added: "The topic of investment
promotion is very important for us from many aspects. It is without
a question that fresh investments will fuel economic growth, job
creation, but also bring about social progress and, in this sense,
we recognize and promote the role of the private sector as well.”
At the working breakfast at the White Palace,
there were representatives of more than 50 companies, including the
largest US and international companies in Serbia.
The American Chamber of Commerce in Serbia
represents 180 international and local companies, with overall
investments exceeding US$6 billion and employing more than 60,000
people in Serbia. |
