CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER II FOUNDATION FOR
EDUCATION SECURES SUMMER CAMP SCHOLARSHIP AT CULVER ACADEMY IN
INDIANA, UNITED STATES
Belgrade, 29 October 2009 – For three consecutive
years, the Crown Prince Alexander II Foundation for Education
secured a full-scholarship to the Culver Academy Summer Camp in
Indiana, United States.
As printed in today’s Politika article, “Camp in
the USA as preparation for Military High School” (Society section):
The Crown Prince Alexander II Foundation for Education offered
15-year old Maksim Lalic from Kac the unique opportunity to spend
six weeks this summer at the prestigious high school, Culver Academy
in Indiana, United States. HRH Crown Prince Alexander II himself
attended this very same summer camp in 1959 before enrolling at
Culver Academy for the academic year 1959-1960.
Upon his return to Serbia, enriched by his
six-week experience at Culver’s Summer Camp, Maksim decided to
enroll into the Military High School in Belgrade. The first-year
cadet of the Military High School (Vojna Gimazija) in Belgrade
shared that the Culver Summer Camp experience enabled by HRH’s
Foundation for Education influenced his decision to pursue his
secondary studies at the Military High School. |
