ROYAL PALACE RECEPTION 9TH SERBIAN ECONOMIC SUMMIT PARTICIPANTS

Belgrade, 2 November 2009 - On behalf of Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine, Mrs. Alison Andrews, daughter of HRH Crown Princess Katherine hosted a reception for participants of the 9th Serbian Economic Summit tonight at the Royal Palace.

The 2009 Economic Summit entitled “Weathering through the world economic crisis” is organized by the Tsomokos Group International. This year’s summit was opened by Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic, in the presence of H.E. Mr. Ivica Dacic, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, H.E. Mr. Mladjan Dinkic, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Regional Development, H.E. Mr. Bozidar Djelic, Deputy Prime Minister for EU Integration and Minister of Science and Technological Development, H.E. Mr. Vuk Jeremic, Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Mrs. Jasna Matic, Minister of Telecommunications and Information Society, H.E. Dr Slobodan Milosavljevic, Minister of Trade and Services, H.E. Dr Petar Skundric, Minister of Energy and Mining and Mr. Bojan Pajtic, President of the Executive Council of AP Vojvodina.

Over 200 participants from Serbia and representatives of all major international companies that do business in Serbia will address the priorities of the Serbian Government to promote regional stability to stimulate the Serbian economy in times of crisis, to manage the finances, to promote Serbia's accession to the European Union, to develop the key and dynamic sectors of Serbia's economy and to build the country's infrastructure.
