CHICAGO CHARITY BRUNCH IN THE PRESENCE OF CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER, CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE, PRINCE PETER, PRINCE PHILIP AND PRINCE ALEXANDER

Chicago, 8 November 2009 – Lifeline Humanitarian Organization from Chicago organized Sunday, 8 November a fundraiser brunch in aid of the Breast Cancer Campaign at the “Place de la Musique” Barrington Hills, Illinois in the presence of Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II, Crown Princess Katherine, Prince Peter, Prince Philip, Prince Alexander and the grandchildren of Crown Princess’s Katherine: Amanda and Stephanie.

Also present were His Eminence Metropolitan Christopher of North Western America, Mr. Desko Nikitovic, Consul General of Serbia in Chicago and many other distinguished guests.

Their Royal Highnesses are pleased to support the cause and help the women of Serbia to fight this terrible disease by hosting this amazing event. Crown Princess Katherine expressed her thanks to the board of Lifeline Chicago for all their hard work.

The Place de la Musique is a Victorian Palace which contains the largest collection of restored automatic musical instruments in the world, including 200 music boxes and phonographs, approximately 65 coin–operated pianos, violin machines and photo players, 60 large American and European orchestrators, 25 dance organs, fairground and band organs and calliopes, and an 8,000 pipe theatre organ.

The Crown Princess Katherine Foundation is very active in fighting against breast cancer and supporting the women of Serbia. During the last six months many events were successfully conclude accomplishing better awareness on the prevention of breast cancer as well as high quality conditions for examination and treatment.

Among many were the purchasing of a General Electric Mobile Digital Mammography Machine thanks to a donation from the Stavros Niarchos Charitable Organization worth over $900,000. In addition launching the “Breast Cancer Shopping Month” at Usce Shopping Centre in Belgrade with the aim to raise awareness about prevention and early detection of this terrible disease, branding the products that were especially designed in aid of breast cancer campaign in collaboration with Tomasevic Jewellery, Tigar Company that launched two new models of rubber boots designed with pink ribbon, Company Art Ival that is promoting a new line of chocolate products and Stylos Company that branded a collection of office material supporting to this great cause.
