ROYAL FAMILY VISIT GRAVE OF HIS MAJESTY KING PETER II OF YUGOSLAVIA

Chicago, 9 November 2009 - Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II, Crown Princess Katherine, Prince Peter, Prince Philip and Prince Alexander visited the grave of His Majesty the late King Peter II of Yugoslavia, at the Saint Sava Monastery in Libertyville, Illinois. His Eminence Metropolitan Christopher of North Western America led the prayers for His Majesty King Peter II.

His Majesty King Peter II of Yugoslavia is the only King buried in the United States. It is planned that His Majesty’s remains will be brought back to Serbia to rest at the Royal Family’s Mausoleum in Oplenac, where the other members of the Royal Family are buried.

Crown Prince Alexander is the only son of His Majesty King Peter II. Their Royal Highnesses Prince Peter, Prince Philip and Prince Alexander are the grandsons of His Majesty King Peter.
