CROWN PRINCE ALEKSANDAR II AND PRINCESS KATARINA WITH THEIR SONS VISIT ILL
CHILDREN FOR CHRISTMAS
Their
Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Aleksandar II, Princess Katarina and Princes
Filip and Aleksandar visited today, on Christmas day, ill children that due
to the health problems couldn’t spend the Christmas holidays at home with
their parents and friends. Their Royal Highnesses visited
first the oncology department at the “University Child Hospital” in Tiršova
Street and afterwards the oncology and surgery departments at the
“Institute for Mother and Child” in Novi Beograd. Patients
were given toys and other presents that Princess Katarina provided from her
humanitarian work in Yugoslavia and Greece, with wishes to recover and
return to their homes as soon as possible. Addressing
present journalists, Crown Prince Aleksandar II and Princess Katarina
expressed their pleasure that together with their sons Filip and Aleksandar
they could make our children happy and their stay in hospital more pleasant. Princess
Katarina said that happy and smiling children are the most beautiful present
for her and emphasized that she would continue to help our medical institutions
through her humanitarian activities. |
