EXHIBITION “NIN – WITNESS OF HISTORY” OPENS
AT THE WHITE PALACE
Belgrade, 12 November 2009 – Mr. Dragomir
Acovic, member of the Privy Council, on behalf of Their Royal
Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess
Katherine, and Mr. Srdjan Radulovic, Editor-in-Chief of
Belgrade’s weekly magazine “NIN”, opened today an exhibition
“NIN – Witness of History” at the White Palace.
The first edition of NIN was printed in 1935,
and it was restarted in 1951. This exhibition features cover
pages of NIN over the years, as well as photographs of the
winners of NIN Literary award, among whom were the most
prominent Serbian writers, like Milos Crnjanski, Danilo Kis,
Borislav Pekic, Branko Copic, and many others.
The exhibition will be open for public on
Friday November 13 and Saturday November 14, from 11 a.m. and 2
pm, and on Sunday, November 15, at 11 am. To visit the
