CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER ATTENDS CELEBRATION
ON DAY OF THE
SERBIAN ACADEMY OF SCIENCE AND ARTS (SANU)

In the beginning of the ceremony speeches
were delivered by the President of the Serbian Academy of
Science and Arts, Prof Nikola Hajdin, the President of the
Republic of Serbia Mr. Boris Tadic and Mr. Bozidar Djelic,
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Science and Technological
Then followed introductory remarks authored
by Prof. Ljubomir Simovic, Prof. Milutin Milankovic and Prof
Vasko Popa on the theme “Through Space and Time”. The texts were
read by Svetlana Bojkovic, Petar Kralj and Gojko Santic.
The readings were followed by musical
selection composed by Johan Sebastian Bah and Francisco Tarrega.
As a part of the official ceremony, new
correspondent members of the Academy were accredited with
certificates and presented to the public.
