H.R.H. PRINCESS KATARINA OPENS HUMANITARIAN NEW YEAR’S
BAZAAR AT HYATT REGENCY HOTEL

Her Royal Highness Princess Katarina together with the Republic Commissioner for Refugees Mrs. Sandra Ivić-Rašković opened this morning at the Crystal Hall of the Hyatt Regency Hotel the Special New Year’s Bazaar where women refugees and internally displaced persons from Bosnia, Croatia and Kosovo exhibited their handcrafts.

Embroidery, knitwear, paintings, ceramics and others handcraft are presented on forty stands and refugee women will benefit from the proceeds of this Bazaar.

The initiator of this benefit exhibition is H.R.H. Princess Katarina who is involved in humanitarian work for many years and this way one more time she helped refugees and internally displaced persons.

Opening the bazaar, H.R.H. Princess Katarina said: “Today and tomorrow we will have an honor and privilege to learn again about skills and artistry of our women and their handcrafts that are not only the works of their skilful hands but also the work of their generous hearts.

We invite all people of good will to come in the next two days and buy something from this wonderful selection, contribute this way to the upcoming New Year’s Holydays and help the ones this money will be given to.”

Princess Katarina expressed her gratitude to the managers of the Hyatt Regency Hotel who generously gave the Crystal Hall for this occasion and invited the media to continue with the support to the people who care about refugees and destitute persons as well as about social institutions in need.

Representatives of Diplomatic Corps, among others wives of the Ambassadors of the USA, Great Britain, Australia, Sweden, Bulgaria and Peru, representatives of Federal and Republic Government, humanitarian organizations from our country and abroad and figures from public and cultural life of our country attended opening of the bazaar.

The New Year’s Bazaar in the Hyatt Regency Hotel will be open for public today and tomorrow, on 11^th and 12^th of January from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and the entrance is free.

We kindly invite all the people of good will to visit the bazaar and participate in this humanitarian action.
