THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES ATTEND PROMOTION OF MONOGRAPH “SERBIA, LIFE AND CUSTOMS” AT ETHNOGRAPHIC MUSEUM AND OPENING OF THE EXHIBITION AT YUGOSLAV ARMY CULTURAL CENTER

 

 

Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Aleksandar II and Princess Katarina attended tonight at the Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade promotion of photo-monograph “Serbia, life and customs”. The monograph presents everyday life in Serbia, customs, tradition, culture, natural beauties and potentials of future development.

The project made by Mr. Dragoljub Zamurović and Mr. Ilja Slani is accomlished within ULUPUDS and in co-operation with Ethnographic Museum. It is planed to be published in Serbian, English, Franch and German language.

Representatives of Republic and Federal Government, Serbian Orthodox Church, Diplomatic Corps and cultural and public life of our country, among them Serbian Prime Minister Dr. Zoran Đinđić and Minister of Culture Mr. Branislav Lečić attended the promotion.

At the Yugoslav Army Cultural Center Their Royal Highnesses attended opening of humanitarian exhibition of period furniture and mirrors. The part of the income will be donated to the Institute for cerebral paralysis and development neurology in Belgrade.
