CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER CONGRATULATES THE NEW PATRIARCH

Belgrade, 22 January 2010 – His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander II extended his warmest congratulations to the newly elected Archbishop of Pec, Metropolitan of Belgrade and Karlovci and Patriarch of Serbia, His Holiness Irinej.

“It was with great pleasure and gratitude before God that we received the news of your election to the Throne of Saint Sava. We pray to our Lord to give you strength, good health and His blessings for you as the First Hierarch of our Holy Church, elected to lead your congregation towards salvation and understanding of the Lord’s message”, said Crown Prince Alexander in his congratulatory letter.
