RECEPTION FOR PARTICIPANTS OF EPICA
FESTIVAL AT THE WHITE PALACE
Belgrade, 22 January 2010 – Their Royal
Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II, Crown Princess Katherine
and Mrs. Alison Andrews, daughter of Princess Katherine hosted a
reception for participants of the EPICA (Europe’s Premier
Creativity Awards) festival tonight at the White Palace.
This first and the most important European
festival of creative communication and is being held in Belgrade
for the first time. A jury of 34 editors of from the main
European public relations and advertising media selected the
best works among over 4900 applications in 41 categories.
Welcoming the guests HRH Crown Prince
Alexander emphasized: “Serbia today is at the beginning of long
and challenging way to its European future. The greatest wealth
and resources of any country are within its people, their hard
work and creative potentials. My wife and I are trying to
support the young and talented people of Serbia, to help them
get a better education and chances to fulfil their dreams, for
the benefit of this country and themselves”.
Among many, reception was attended by HE Mr.
Nebojsa Bradic, Minister of Culture, HE Mrs. Snezana
Samardzic-Markovic, Minister of Youth and Sport, Mrs. Radmila
Hrustanovic, Deputy Mayor of Belgrade and many other
representatives of public and cultural life of Serbia.
Mr. Dragan Sakan, founder of the New Moment
PR Agency who organized this year’s event, and Mr. Andrew
Rawlings, President of EPICA Festival also addressed the
participants. |
