HRH CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER ATTENDS 18th
ANNIVERSARY OF HUMANITARIAN FUND “PRIVREDNIK”
IN NOVI SAD
Belgrade, 23 January 2010 – His Royal
Highness Crown Prince Alexander II accompanied by Mr. Dragomir
Acovic, member of the Privy Council, attended this evening the
18th anniversary celebration of the Humanitarian Fund
“Privrednik” in Novi Sad. HRH Hereditary Prince Peter, the
eldest son of HRH Crown Prince Alexander II is the patron of
this association.
At the concert in the Novi Sad Synagogue
there were many distinguished guests, including His Grace Bishop
of Jegar Porfirije, Mr. Igor Pavlicic, Mayor of Novi Sad, Mrs.
Jelena Tabak, Secretary general of “Privrednik” and many others.
In his speech HRH Crown Prince Alexander
emphasized: “I appreciate your work very much, and strongly
believe in a healthy economy and solidarity, which are the core
values of this Fund, are at the same time the main ingredients
that could propel towards a more prosperous Serbia and a better
future”.
The most important donors and patrons of the
Humanitarian Fund “Privrednik” through its’ long history were HM
King Alexander I (the grandfather of Crown Prince Alexander) ,
Mihajlo Pupin, Nikola Tesla, and many others. |
