CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER II AT PRESENTATION
OF “VUK AWARD”
Belgrade, 18 February 2010 - His Royal
Highness Crown Prince Alexander II attended today the
presentation of the “Vuk Award” which took place for 46th time
in a row by the Serbian Cultural and Educational Society in the
Belgrade Assembly – The Old Royal Palace building.
This years’ laureates were the “Renaissance”
ensemble, Belgrade, Mr. Rados Bajic, actor, screen writer,
director, Belgrade, Mr. Zarko Dimic, historian, Sremski
Karlovci, Guca trumpet Festival, Guca, Mr. Ljubisa Djidic,
writer, Academician Ms. Olga Jevric, sculptor, Mr. Dragan
Lakicevic, writer, Prof. Dr. Nenad Ljubinkovic, scientist,
Megatrend University Belgrade, and Ms. Ljiljana Habjanovic
Djurovic, writer, Belgrade.
This year’s commission consisted of Mr.
Zivorad Ajdacic, director, Belgrade, Mr. Momcilo Antonovic,
painter, Belgrade, Prof. Dr. Svetislav Bozic, composer,
President of the Commission, Belgrade, Ms. Rada Djuricin,
actress, Belgrade, Mr. Dobrica Eric, poet, Belgrade, Mr. Dragan
Mraovic, writer and translator, Belgrade, Mr. Ratko Popovic,
writer, Gracanica, Mr. Miroslav Radonjic, theatrology expert,
Novi Sad, and Prof. Dr. Darko Tanaskovic, University Professor,
Belgrade.
HRH Crown Prince Alexander II personally
congratulated all the winners and spent time in interesting
conversation with some of them after the official ceremony. |
