THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES VISIT SANU GALLERY
AND MUSEUM OF APPLIED ART

 

Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Aleksandar II and Princess Katarina visited today the exhibition “Uniforms in Serbia in 19th and 20th century” organized by Historical Museum of Serbia at Gallery of Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SANU).

Accompanied by Mr.Dinko Davidov, Director of SANU Gallery and Mr. Andrej Vojnović, director of the Historical Museum of Serbia, Crown Prince and his wife viewed this interesting exhibition where the uniforms of the ancestors of Crown Prince Aleksandar II were also exposed.

Their Royal Highnesses discussed with their hosts situation in Serbian culture and ways to solve current problems.

Crown Prince Aleksandar II and Princess Katarina visited afterwards the exhibition of Pirot carpets at the Museum of applied arts where they were welcomed by director of the Museum, Mrs. Ivanka Zorić. On that ocasion they met the author of the exhibition Mrs. Milena Vitković-Žikić who presented the project.
