HRH CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE ATTENDS OPENING EVENT FOR CONGRESS OF PERINATAL AND REPRODUCTIVE MEDICINE 2010

Belgrade, 12 March 2010 – HRH Crown Princess Katherine attended last might the official opening of the Congress of perinatal and reproductive medicine at the City Hall of Belgrade.

This international congress gathered 500 participants, gynaecologists, neonatologists, pharmacologists and oncologists from Serbia, Montenegro, Republic of Srpska, Croatia, Slovenia and the region. Congress was organized by the Serbian Society for ultrasound in gynaecology and obstetrics and perinatal Section of Serbian Medical Society, and it will takes place in Belgrade from March 11-13, 2010.

Addressing the participants and guests, HRH Crown Princess Katherine emphasized: “I am very proud that Belgrade is hosting such an important Congress and that so many of our doctors took part. Perinatology is a very important medical discipline, especially important for children’s health, and congresses with international participation and a great number of papers submitted are crucial for further progress and new discoveries.”
