TRADITIONAL EASTER RECEPTIONS FOR CHILDREN AT THE WHITE PALACE

Belgrade, 30 March 2010 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine organized traditional Easter receptions during the day at the White Palace for around a thousand children without parental care, Roma children and children with special needs.

Along with Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine, His Grace Bishop Atanasije of Hvostano attended the first traditional Easter reception.

During the receptions the children were given sweets and toys, and were entertained by the St. John The Theologist children’s church choir from Sabac. They performed the Serbian National Anthem “Boze pravde”, and traditional Easter songs. The renowned Serbian actor Marko Stojanovic moderated the program during the third reception.

After the reception and delivery presents the children enjoyed an Easter egg hunt in the Park of the White Palace.
