CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER II AND CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE ATTEND EUCHARISTIC CELEBRATION MASS AT THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CATHEDRAL

Belgrade, 19 April 2010 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine attended this afternoon an Eucharistic Celebration on the occasion of the Fifth Anniversary of the election of His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI, served by His Excellency Archbishop Orlando Antonini, the Apostolic Nuncio, at the Roman Catholic Cathedral in Belgrade. At the Mass, there were also representatives of the diplomatic corps, H.E. Mr. Clemens Koja, Austrian ambassador to Serbia, H.E. Mr. Armando Varricchio, Italian ambassador to Serbia, H.E. Mr. Jean – François Terral, French ambassador to Serbia, members of the clergy and numerous citizens.

His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI is the 265th and current Pope. He was elected on 19 April 2005, and succeeded the late Pope John Paul II.
