ROYAL COUPLE DONATE MAMMOGRAPHY MACHINE
AND WARM TABLE FOR BABIES TO HOSPITAL IN ARANDJELOVAC
Arandjelovac, 7 May 2010 – Their Royal
Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess
Katherine visited today Arandjelovac Hospital where they
delivered a mammography machine and warm table.
The mammography machine was provided by
Lifeline Humanitarian Organisation from Chicago which is
under the patronage of HRH Crown Princess Katherine and
delivered to Arandjelovac Hospital as part of the National
Campaign Serbia Against Cancer.
The warm table for babies is essential
equipment for providing the best care for the newborns, and
this delivery is part of the Safe delivery project launched
by HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation with the aim to
equip all delivery rooms in Serbia.
At the hospital Their Royal Highnesses
were welcomed by Prof. Dr. Cvetko Jelicic, Director of the
Health Centre Arandjelovac and medical staff. After the
delivery, the Royal Couple visited the Department of
Radiology and Maternity ward, as well as the Foundation of
HM Queen Maria of Yugoslavia (Crown Prince Alexander's
grandmother) which is within the Hospital Court. |
