PRINCESS KATHERINE DELIVERS
HUMANITARIAN AID TO TIRSOVA, ZVECANSKA AND COLLECTIVE
CENTRES IN GROCKA AND AVALA
Belgrade, 12 May 2010 – HRH Crown
Princess Katherine visited today the University Children’s
Hospital in Tirsova, Home for children without parental care
in Zvecanska, Kindergarten “Dunavsko” and Collective Centres
in Grocka and Avala. Crown Princess Katherine donated
humanitarian aid to these institutions thanks to the
generous help of Lifeline Humanitarian Organisation Chicago.
In the morning Crown Princess visited the
University Children’s Hospital in Tirsova where she
delivered a Dideco Compact A Auto transfusion machine which
is used for intra-operative blood saving, one paediatric
ventilator and thorascopic instruments – needles, holders,
scissors, forceps and legating clip applicators.
Princess Katherine then went to see
children without parental care in the Home in Zvecanska
Street and delivered a PC computer and printer purchased
thanks to the help of Prof. Dr. Alexander Margulis, a great
friend of the Royal Couple and distinguished doctor from the
United States of America.
Following that Princess Katherine visited
Kindergarten “Dunavsko” and delivered presents to the
children.
Her Royal Highness Crown Princess
Katherine then visited Collective Centres in Grocka and
Avala and thanks to Lifeline Humanitarian Organisation
Chicago delivered pillows, blankets, children’s clothes and
toys. |
