FIFA WORLD CUP SPANISH VICTORY CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER CONGRATULATES HIS MAJESTY KING JUAN CARLOS

Belgrade, 12 July 2010 - Crown Prince Alexander warmly congratulates His Majesty King Juan Carlos for the Spanish victory in the 2010 FIFA World Cup in Johannesburg South Africa. The Royal Family watched the game last night on television and were delighted to see Her Majesty Queen Sophie of Spain in the stadium.

Crown Prince Alexander also sent his congratulations to Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands for the Dutch team making is way through to the final.

Crown Prince Alexander is related to the Spanish Royal Family. The Crown Prince’s mother Queen Alexandra of Yugoslavia was a first cousin to Her Majesty Queen Sophie of Spain. The sons of Crown Prince Alexander Their Royal Highnesses Prince Peter, Prince Philip and Prince Alexander are also related to His Majesty King Juan Carlos since their mother Princess Maria da Gloria is a first cousin to His Majesty King Juan Carlos.
