H.R.H. CROWN PRINCE ALEKSANDAR II PRESIDES THE SESSION OF HUMANITARIAN FOUNDATION “PRIVREDNIK”

H.R.H. Crown Prince Aleksandar II presided today in Novi Sad the first working session of Humanitarian Foundation “Privrednik” in 2002, whose patron is H.R.H. Hereditary Prince Petar.

Members of Administrative Board, members of the patronage and important donors attended the session. Mr. Đorđe Đukić, member of the Executive Board of Vojvodina Assembly, Bishop of Jegar Porfirije and numerous figures from political, cultural and economic life of Novi Sad and Vojvodina participated at the meeting.

Sending greetings of Hereditary Prince Petar, Crown Prince Aleksandar II opened the session where plan and program of the Foundation, financial plan and other current topics were discussed.

Addressing those present Crown Prince Aleksandar II said: “I believe that our attitude toward young generations shows better what we think of our own future then political paroles and declarations.

It is good that “Privrednik” exists and works under the auspices of the Church, Academy and institutions whose significance for survival and future of our people is essential and unrepeatable”, emphasized Crown Prince Aleksandar II.

After the session, accompanied by Bishop of Jegar Porfirije and Mr. Petar Jojić, director of the school “Jovan Jovanović Zmaj”, Crown Prince visited this institution, one of the oldest grammar schools in Serbia.

Welcomed by the applause of students and professors, Crown Prince visited cabinets and learnt about conditions and methods of work, especially in the field of information technology.
