ROYAL COUPLE CELEBRATE SILVER WEDDING ANNIVERSARY AT THE
ROYAL PALACE
Belgrade, 17 September 2010 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown
Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine are celebrating their 25th
wedding anniversary tonight and tomorrow 18 September at the Royal Compound.
They are joined Their Royal Highnesses Hereditary Prince
Peter, Prince Philip and Prince Alexander. Their Royal Highnesses Prince
Nicholas and Princess Katarina (son and daughter of HRH Prince Tomislav) and her
daughter Victoria de Silva. Their Royal Highnesses Prince Vladimir (son of
Prince Andrej) and Princes Brigitta. Princess Lavinia (daughter of Prince
Andrej) and her husband Mr, Austin Pritchard. HRH Crown Princess Katherine’s son
Mr. and Mrs David Andrews their son Alexander, and daughter Mrs. Alison Andrews.
Guests were also Their Majesties King Constantine and Queen
Anne-Marie of the Hellenes, King Simeon and Queen Margarita of Bulgaria, King
Michael of Romania, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Princess Margarita and Prince
Radu of Romania, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Guillaume and Princess Sibilla of
Luxembourg, Princess Irene of Greece, Princess Desiree, Baroness Silfverschiöld
of Sweden and Baron Niclas Silfverschiöld, Princess Margarita of Baden, Their
Serene Highnesses Prince Philipp Erasmus and Princess Isabelle of Liechtenstein,
Her Serene Highness Princess Ira von Fürstenberg, Prince Rupert Rupert and
Princess Josephine Lowenstein, Her Highness Princess Jeet Nabha Khemka and Mr
Nand Khemka, Marquese and Marquesa Cattaneo Della Volta Di Belforte, Lord and
Lady Blyth, Lord Jenner of Braunstone, Lord Lamont of Lerwick, Sir Nicolas and

The guests were delighted to have had the opportunity to tour
two Royal Palaces and Belgrade, which most of them are visiting for the first
time.
Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown
Princess Katherine married in 1985 at St. Sava church in London. His Majesty
King Constantine of the Hellenes was the best man and His Royal Highness Prince
Tomislav, the uncle of Crown Prince Alexander, was the witness at the wedding
ceremony.
This extraordinary celebration of silver wedding anniversary
of Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine
would not be possible, without the generous help and support of their many
friends from Serbia and abroad. Their Royal Highnesses would like to sincerely
thank them all. There is no doubt that this lovely emotional event is also a
wonderful promotion for the people of Serbia. Their Royal Highnesses are
delighted that so many friends from all over the world were able to come to
