HUMANITARIAN FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT “CHILDREN FOR A CHILD” UNDER THE AUSPICES OF CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE IN SMEDEREVO

Belgrade, 11 October 2010 – Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine was the patron of the humanitarian football tournament “Children for a child”, organized by the Kingdom of Serbia Association in Smederevo yesterday, together with local football clubs “Riverside” and “Petlic”. The event was in aid of a 6th grade boy, who is suffering from muscular dystrophy, and who needs support to go for treatment in Padova, Italy.

Mr. Aleksandar Stanojevic, manager of Football Club Partizan, Mr. Aleksandar Kristic, manager of Football Club Red star, and Mr. Igor Jankovic, director of basic football section of FA of Serbia, presented the participants with special trophies for taking part in this extraordinary humanitarian event.
