ROYAL COUPLE SEND AID TO THE PEOPLE OF KRALJEVO

Belgrade, 5 November 2010 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine are deeply concerned about the people endangered by the earthquake that hit Kraljevo in which two people lost their lives and many lost their homes.

Their Royal Highnesses spoke with the mayor of Kraljevo by mobile telephone. The Royal Couple organised to send humanitarian aid to Kraljevo consisting of furniture and food for the victims of the earthquake.

The staff of HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation is packing a five-ton truck with furniture and Klas-Beogradska Pekarska Industrija is sending truck with 2,000 pieces of fresh bread to be delivered to the victims.

The Crown Princess called all Foundation donors and Royal Warrants to support the people in Kraljevo and help in any way they can. “We have to do our best for endangered people in Kraljevo. This is a terrible tragedy that can happen to anyone and it is up to us to give the example and help the ones in need” stated Princess Katherine.

The Crown Princess Katherine Foundation gives special thanks to Hotel Yugoslavia, Klas-Beogradska Pekarska Industrija and Coca Cola Hellenic Serbia for responding immediately to this humanitarian action.
