CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER PATRON OF THE 7TH INTERNATIONAL
FORUM FOR HOTEL MANAGEMENT AND HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS
Belgrade, 16 November 2010 – His Royal Highness Crown Prince
Alexander II addressed the participants of the 7th International Forum of Hotel
Management and Hotel Accommodations today in his official capacity as patron of
this event. The organizers of the conference were the Serbian Chamber of
Commerce (PKS), the Association of Tourism and Hospitability and the Editorial
Board of “Turisticki svet” magazine.
In his speech to the participants of the conference and key
speakers, among whom were Dr Ghassan Aidi, President of the International Hotels
and Restaurants Association (IH&RA), Ms. Erica Harms, Executive Director of the
Council for Global and Sustainable Tourism (GSTC), Mr. Goran Petkovic, state
secretary in the Ministry of economy and regional development, Dr Stojan Jevtic,
vice president of PKS, Ms. Dragana Sabic, Secretary of Association of tourism
and hospitability at PKS, Ms. Ljiljana Rebronja, Editor in chief of “Turisticki
svet”, Prof. Dr Andjelka Mihajlov, Dean of faculty for environment protection,
and numerous guests, HRH Crown Prince Alexander emphasized: “Ongoing development
and exchange of experience and ideas is very important in the dynamic industry
such as tourism management. It is therefore with pleasure and pride that I
support initiatives – such as this conference – that share the goal of educating
and empowering our touristic managers and other professionals with necessary
skills to be competitive in today’s international marketplace. In addition to
promoting new concepts and ideas, we will be also promoting the tourism industry
of our beautiful country”. |
