Belgrade, 17 November 2010 – It was with much pleasure that Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine received the wonderful news about the engagement of His Royal Highness Prince William to Kate Middleton. Their Royal Highnesses extended their very warmest congratulations, best wishes and much happiness to the young couple.

Their Royal Highnesses also warmly congratulated His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales. Crown Prince Alexander was at Gordonstoun School in Scotland with Prince Charles.

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is the Godmother of Crown Prince Alexander and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh is the second cousin of Her Majesty Queen Alexandra of Yugoslavia, the mother of Crown Prince Alexander.
