CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE RECEIVES DIPLOMA FOR THE
PRESERVATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE ROMA PEOPLE’S CULTURE
Belgrade, 17 November 2010 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown
Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine attended the opening of the
exhibition “Roma Culture in Serbia” tonight at Atelje 212 Theatre in Belgrade.
HRH Crown Princess Katherine was awarded a special diploma for her contribution
for the preservation and development of Roma People’s Culture in Serbia.
HRH Crown Princess said in her speech: “Serbia is building a
multicultural, multiethnic and prosperous society. This exhibition shows the
valuable contribution that the Roma people in our country can give for building
such a society. We can build a strong and prosperous country if we continue to
support and promote values that are equally important for all our citizens”.
This important exhibition was supported by the Museum of Roma
Culture, the Ministry of Culture of Serbia, the City Assembly of Belgrade and
Atelje 212. |
