CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE AT THE OPENING OF THE TRADITIONAL INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S CLUB (IWC) BAZAAR

Belgrade, 4 December 2010 – HRH Crown Princess Katherine attended today the opening of the traditional Charity Bazaar organized by the International Women’s Club (IWC) at the Belgrade Fair.

The IWC was happy to announce that 40 countries answered their call for this Humanitarian Event, with the purpose to support local NGOs working with vulnerable populations in Serbia.

The opening speeches were delivered by Mrs. Etsuko Tsunozaki, President of the International Women’s Club and Mrs. Snezana Miljanic, General Manager of the Belgrade Fair.

Last year, the Bazaar raised €90,000 and attracted more than 6000 visitors.

The opening was also attended by the members of Diplomatic Corps as well as a large number of visitors.
