CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE VISITS GERONTOLOGY CENTERS IN BELGRADE

Belgrade, 14 December 2010 – Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine visited today the Gerontology Centre Belgrade, the retirement home Bezanijska Kosa and Gerontology Center Vozdovac, where she was warmly welcomed by Ms. Mirjana Novakov and Ms. Nevena Matkovic, managers of these centers, and many of the beneficiaries.

Her Royal Highness visited tenants in their rooms, and spent good part of the afternoon talking about their life in the centers.

The Gerontology Centre Belgrade, retirement home Bezanijska Kosa and Gerontology Center Vozdovac have capacity of 600 and 270 beds. The HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation has helped these institutions on several occasions with furniture, wheelchairs and medical material.
