CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE VISITS CHILDREN HOSPITALS AND CHILDCARE INSTITUTIONS IN BELGRADE

Belgrade, 12 January 2011 – HRH Crown Princess Katherine, together with friends of the Royal Family and donors from Greece, Mr. Konstantas, Mrs. Apostolidou and Mr. Kiousis, and her grandson, Michael Garfinkel, traditionally visited children hospitals and childcare institutions in Belgrade, where she delivered Christmas presents to children in these institutions.

HRH Crown Princess Katherine together with guests visited orphans in the home for children without parental care in Zvecanska Street. After that they paid a visit to the Mother and Child Institute in New Belgrade and then the University Children’s Hospitals in Tirsova Street, where they delivered toys and sweets to the children, bringing them warmth and happiness of the holiday season. HRH Crown Princess Katherine reassured children that they are not left alone and that she always keeps them in her heart and mind.
