THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES AT THE 33rd FAIR OF TOURISM
Belgrade, 24 February 2011 –Their Royal Highnesses Crown
Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine attended today the official
opening of the 33rd Fair of Tourism at the Belgrade Fair. The Royal Compound is
traditionally presented at the Fair of Tourism in Hall 4. The opening ceremony
was also attended by H.E. Mr. Nebojsa Bradic, minister of culture, and Mr. Goran
Petkovic, state secretary at the Ministry of economy and regional development,
who opened the fair.
The 33rd International Fair of Tourism is held under the
motto “Summer starts today”, and the partner country this year is Croatia.
The 33rd Fair of Tourism has gathered almost 900 exhibitors
from 43 countries.
In cooperation with the Tourist Organization of Serbia and
the Tourist Organization of Belgrade and thanks to the kind permission of His
Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander II the Royal Compound will be once again
open for tourists from 1 April until 31 October 2011.
This year’s Fair of Tourism is a great opportunity for
domestic and foreign visitors to be introduced to the historical and cultural
heritage of The Royal Compound.
From Thursday, 24 February to Sunday, 27 February visitors to
the Belgrade Fair of Tourism can visit The Royal Compound stand in Hall 4.
