KINGDOM OF SERBIA ASSOCIATION MARKS SAINT PATRON DAY AT THE
Belgrade, 24 February 2011 – Kingdom of Serbia, the
monarchist association under auspices of His Royal Highness Crown Prince
Alexander, celebrated its PatronSaint Day this evening at the White Palace. The
ceremony was hosted by Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown
Princess Katherine, and was very well attended. The reception was attended by
His Excellency Mr. Alexander Konuzin, Russian Federation ambassador, members of
the Crown Council Mr. Matija Beckovic, Prof. Dr Dragoljub Kavran, Mr. Milorad
Savicevic, members of the Crown Cabinet, and many other distinguished guests.
HRH Crown Prince Alexander II addressed the guests and wished
them happy Patron Saint Day St. Symeon myroblytai. Mr. Bojan Starcevic,
President of Kingdom of Serbia Association, also delivered a speech.
Guests enjoyed a very good program performed by the Singing
Society Mokranjac from St. Sava Temple, who opened ceremony with the original
version of “Boze pravde” the Serbian national anthem. After that a film about
the Kingdom of Serbia Association was shown.
The Kingdom of Serbia is the biggest monarchist association
in Serbia, with over 15000 members and 50 branches all over the country.
