FUNDRAISING EVENT AT THE ROYAL PALACE IN AID OF JAPAN

Belgrade, 13 April 2011 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander, Crown Princess Katherine and Prince Philip in cooperation with Art Ival Company and in the presence of HE Mr. Toshio Tsunosaki, Ambassador of Japan to Serbia, hosted tonight at the Royal Palace a fundraising event in aid of victims of earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan in March this year.

Especially for this occasion Art Ival Company produced 25 unique chocolate eggs that were bid for in a silent auction. The chocolate eggs that were presented tonight are the work of art of chocolate masters Snezana Nastasijevic, Dejan Kovacevic and Damir Mijovic. The weight of the bigger eggs is 1,5 kg and of the smaller ones 300 grams.

At the official ceremony led by the famous Serbian anchor Voja Nedeljkovic, speeches were delivered by Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine as well as His Excellency the Ambassador of Japan and Mr. Rade Vucicevic, Founder of Art Ival Company.

In her speech Crown Princess Katherine pointed out: “It makes me very happy to see that there are many people of good heart in Serbia that are ready to help. The people in Japan have gone through very rough times, that are unfortunately not over and they need all the help they can get. I hope you will enjoy the programme and that all chocolate eggs will be sold”

Art Ival Company is a long-lasting associate of the HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation and a Royal Warrant. In the past they supported many humanitarian events, the biggest one was for the Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign.
