REPRESENTATIVES OF FOREIGN MEDIA
AT THE RECEPTION AT THE ROYAL PALACE

Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Aleksandar II and Princess Katarina hosted formal reception for the representatives of foreign media at the Royal Palace last night.

Representatives of diplomatic corps, international news agencies, printed media, radio and television correspondents accredited in Yugoslavia, and other distinguished guests were present at the reception.

During the reception they had the opportunity to tour the inside of the Royal Palace and to get acquainted with the rich history of these buildings.

H.R.H. Crown Prince Aleksandar II first welcomed all those who came to his invitation, and emphasized that the doors of the Royal Palace are open to all people of good will regardless of their religious or national origin.

Speaking about the media in contemporary world, Crown Prince emphasized the role of the media as a controlling element of each authority, and pointed out their importance in establishing a democratic society.
