THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES AT THE CLOSING CEREMONY OF FIRST NATIONAL CONFERENCE OF EUROPEAN YOUTH PARLIAMENT

Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Aleksandar II, Crown Princess Katarina and Prince Filip attended formal cocktail that closed First National Conference of European Youth Parliament last night at Belgrade City Hall.

Twelve delegates representing Yugoslavia at the international Conferences in Belgium and Italy during this year were elected at the First National Conference of European Youth Parliament held from 1^st to 4^th March in Belgrade.

During four days participants of the conference discussed current relevant political, cultural and economic problems of our society with their guests from abroad.

After welcoming remarks of president of European Youth Parliament of Yugoslavia Ms. Aleksandra Mitrović, Crown Prince Aleksandar II addressed those present and Prince Filip was awarded the honorary membership card of European Youth Parliament.

Addressing those present Crown Prince Aleksandar II said:

“We want united Europe without frontiers where every nation and every country have place and role they deserve. We want successful and rich Europe. Finally, we want the country of my forefathers to become integral part of Europe and to find in Europe improvement, peace and happiness. That is the Europe that needs your youth.”

Members of the Royal Family spent the rest of the evening talking to young people that were especially interested in life of their age mate Prince Filip.
