HRH CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER ATTENDS MARKING OF 55 YEARS OF SERBIAN INSTITUTE OF TEXTBOOKS
Belgrade, 30 May 2012 – His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander II and Mr. Dusan Babac, member of the Privy Council, attended today the marking of 55 years of the Serbian Institute of Textbooks at the National Theater in Belgrade.
The guests were addressed by His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia, Academician Nikola Hajdin, President of the Serbian Academy of Science and Arts (SASA), Academician Ljubomir Simovic and Dr. Miloljub Albijanic, Director and Editor in Chief of the Institute.
The authors of the best textbooks in 2011 were presented with the “Stojan Novakovic” award, together with the winners of the literature competition “I chose knowledge”.
At the end guests were presented by reprinted edition of the first Serbian primer, author Monk Sava, prior of Decani Monastery from 16th century.
