ROYAL FAMILY AT PIERRE CARDIN FASHION SHOW AT THE WHITE PALACE

Belgrade, 9 June 2012 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II, Crown Princess Katherine and Prince Peter, in cooperation with H.E. Mr. Francois-Xavier Deniau, French Ambassador to Serbia and Ms. Vesna Mandic from Fashion agency “Fabrika“, hosted a humanitarian fashion event at the White Palace tonight where the new collection from renowned French designer Pierre Cardin was presented.

 The humanitarian fashion show by Pierre Cardin was a part of ”Sun Moon & Stars Belgrade Fashion Nights 2012“ where Monsieur Pierre Cardin, who was also there, presented his latest collection of 200 models in what was widely considered the fashion event of the year in Serbia.

This event gathered more than 400 guests and over 150 media representatives. Among the distinghuished guests were H.E. Dr Zarko Obradovic, Minister of Education and Science, Prof. Dr Mica Jovanovic, Megatrend University rector, Mr. Srdjan Saper, the Ambassadors of Germany, Russia, Belgium, Montenegro, Brasil, Australia, representatives of Italian Embassy, people from the field of fashion and public life.

Thanks to HRH Crown Princess Katherine Humanitarian Foundation and fashion agency “Fabrika” large amount of food, clothes, footwear, washing machines and equipment for the renovation of bathrooms were collected to be distributed to Homes for children without parental care “Zvecanska“ in Belgrade, “Drinka Pavlovic“ in Belgrade, “Jovan Jovanovic Zmaj“ in Belgrade, “Mika Antic“ in Sombor, “Stanko Paunović“ in Negotin, “Mladost“ in Kragujevac, “Petar Radinovic“ in Uzice, “Jefimija“ in Krusevac, “Vera Blagojevic“ in Banja Koviljaca, “Vera Radivojevic“ in Bela Crkva, “Duško Radovic“ in Nis, “Dr Milorad Pavlovic“ in Sremska Kamenica, “Kolevka“ in Subotica and “Hristina Markisic“ in Aleksinac.
