HRH PRINCESS MARGARITA OF BADEN (1932-2013)
Belgrade, 16 January 2013 – Her Royal Highness Princess Margarita of Baden passed away last night in the United Kingdom after a long illness.
Princess Margarita was married to HRH Prince Tomislav of Yugoslavia (1928-2000) the second son of HM King Alexander I of Yugoslavia and they had two children Prince Nicholas (1958- ) and Princes Katarina (1959- ). The marriage ended in 1981.
Princess Margarita was born 14 July 1932 in Schloss Salem (Baden) in Germany. She was the daughter of Berthold, Margrave of Baden and Princess Theodora of Greece and Denmark (a sister of HRH the Duke of Edinburgh). The Princess was a first cousin to HRH the Prince of Wales. |
