RECEPTION FOR LADY MINISTERS AND THE WIVES OF THE MINISTERS AND AMBASSADORS AT THE ROYAL PALACE IN DEDINJE

 

HRH Princess Katherine organized a lunch for lady ministers, the wives of the Serbian and Federal ministers and the wives of the ambassadors at the Royal Palace yesterday.

The reception was attended by Serbian Minister of Social Affairs Mrs. Gordana Matković, Minister of Transport and Telecommunications Mrs. Marija Rašeta–Vukosavljević, Republican Commissioner for Refugees Mrs. Sanda Ivić Rasković, wives of the Speaker of the Federal Parliament Mr. Dragoljub Micunović and of the Federal Minister of Defence Mr. Velimir Radojević, as well as the wives of Serbian ministers Vladan Batić, Dragan Domazet, Aleksandar Vlahović, Slobodan Milosavljević, Vojislav Milovanović, Branislav Lečić and Dragoslav Šumarac.

Among the invitees were also the wives of the ambassadors of Sweden, Belgium, Cyprus, Hungary, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Poland, Australia, India, Palestine, Guinea, Angola, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Brazil, Iran, Indonesia and Pakistan.

The reception at the Royal Palace was an opportunity for the wives of the ministers and ambassadors to get acquainted, as well as to talk to Princess Katherine about the great charity reception in aid of our health institutions in medical equipment and ambulances, which is going to be organized on 7 and 8 June at the White Palace in Dedinje.

Princess Katherine particularly spoke about social protection and aiding refugees programs, in which she actively cooperates with Mrs. Gordana Matković and Mrs. Sanda Ivić Rasković.

Her Royal Highness also thanked the wives of the ambassadors who supported her greatly in humanitarian activities, and expressed hope that such support will also be given in the forthcoming charity event.
