THE PATRIARCH OF MOSCOW AND ALL RUSSIA ALEXY II SENDS PRESENTS TO THE ROYAL CHAPEL OF SAINT APOSTLE ANDREW THE FIRST CALLED

Head of the suite of Moscow Patriarchy in Belgrade Father Vitalij Tarasjev presented HRH Crown Prince Aleksandar II today with the gifts from His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Alexy II, intended for the Royal Chapel of Saint Apostle Andrew the First Called at Dedinje.

The gifts were delivered upon holy liturgy that was attended, beside Crown Prince Alelksandar II and Crown Princess Katherine, by the ambassador of Russian Federation His Excellency Mr. Vladimir J. Ivanovski and the member of the Privy Council Arch. Dragomir Acović.

Father Vitalij Tarasjev delivered an inspired speech pointing out the deep historical connections between the two old orthodox churches, Serbian and Russian, and our people, and especially emphasizing the memory of the aid that the late king Aleksandar I had given to the Russian community in our country.
