THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES AT THE CHARITY CONCERT AT SAVA CENTRE IN AID OF THE UNIVERSITY PEDIATRIC CLINIC

TRH Crown Prince Aleksandar II and Crown Princess Katherine attended charity concert in aid of University Pediatric Clinic, organized by the Austrian embassy and City Assembly of Belgrade at the Sava centre yesterday.

The concert was also attended by the president of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia Vojislav Koštunica PhD, the Prime Minister of the Federal government Mr. Dragiša Pešić, vice president of the Federal government Miroljub Labus PhD, Federal minister of foreign affairs Mr. Goran Svilanović, Republic minister of internal affairs Mr. Dušan Mihajlović, the ambassador of Austria H.E. Mr. Hannes Porias, high representatives of religious communities, as well as many public figures.

Accompanied by the Symphonic orchestra of RTS, opera singer Mrs. Sonya Gazharian, the famous Austrian soprano of Armenian origin performed the concert.

Two days ago, Their Royal Highnesses organized a formal dinner in honor of Mrs. Gazharian at the Royal Palace at Dedinje.

The Mayor of Belgrade Mrs. Radmila Hrustanović as the host addressed the present guests, followed by Austrian Minister of foreign affairs Mrs. Benita Ferero- Valdner and the Federal minister of foreign affairs Mr. Goran Svilanović.

Mrs. Ferero-Valdner pointed out that this ceremony proved how well the relations between Austria and FRY were developing in all directions, and handed over a check to the University Pediatric Clinic in the amount of €36.000, intended for purchasing medical equipment.
