Meeting with Metropolitan of Dabar and Bosnia Nikolaj
and Bishop of Banja Luka Jefrem

HRH Crown Prince Aleksandar II and Princess Katherine met in Banja Luka with religious leaders of the Orthodox Church His Most Eminent Grace Metropolitan of Dabar and Bosnia Nikolaj and His Grace Bishop of Banja Luka Jefrem.

Bishop Jefrem welcomed Their Royal Highnesses in Banja Luka Bishopric and thanked them for their visit, pointing out that “Serbian people is happy, despite all the disasters it had suffered, for it has the ruling dynasty who is a symbol of its past, present and future.”.

Crown Prince Aleksandar and Bishop Jefrem emphasized the need to overcome the existing religious and ethnic conflicts, for Republika Srpska is today a modern state that respects freedom of religion, human rights and democratic principles.

Current social issues and the project of building Karadjordje’s Konak in Dobrun Monastery near Visegrad were also discussed on this occasion.
