CHILDREN FROM KOSOVO AND METOHIJA AND FROM BELGRADE VISIT THE PALACES IN DEDINJE

Belgrade, 27 September 2002 – About forty children from Kosovo and Metohija and from orphanage “Zmaj”, who attend the Second Hilandar Summer School from 20 to 28 September, organized by Belgrade office of Holy Serbian Imperial Monastery of Hilandar, visited Dedinje Palaces compound today.

This program was conducted as a part of charity and educational activities of Hilandar Monastery, in cooperation with “Endowment of Saint Monastery of Hilandar”.

The children accompanied by a guide and their teachers learned about the history and architecture of the Palaces, as well as with all the famous works of art exhibited in them.

When the tour was finished, the teachers most kindly thanked on behalf of the children to Crown Prince Aleksandar II and Princess Katherine for the hospitality that was offered to them.
