YUTEF: BOTH COMMERCIAL AND HUMANITARIAN
Joint humanitarian activity of the Foundation of HRH Crown Princess Katherine and Yutef

HRH Crown Princess Katherine was very glad to see the initiative from the people from Yugoslav fashion business help the work of her Foundation, by raising aid for all those children who need it. Thus the Princess appealed to Yutef to contact all those manufacturers and people of good will and good heart at this Fair, to aid children in clothes and shoes, for this winter would be very long and very cold without such aid.

Also, linen is necessary for our hospitals, as well as pyjamas and night gowns for the patients, emphasized HRH Crown Princess Katherine during conversation with Yutef representative, and that’s why any kind of help in such items, or materials they could be sewn, is welcome.

- A workshop with refugee women working in it is going to be set up, said Princess Katherine.

- We have a team of forty refugee women. In this way we are going to give them an opportunity to contribute to society, and that is what they miss at the moment. The big problem for refugees is the loss of dignity, for they became useless to themselves and others. The Foundation provided forty sewing machines which they will make commercial clothes with, and thus be able to make money. That is why we need help from people from fashion business, to donate materials, thread and lining to these women.

Yutef will provide space in the following issues of Yutef Review magazine for this activity, and the companies that react promptly will be promoted. It is our great pleasure to point out that the Program began its life when this issue was closed, for our partners and friends from St.GEORGE Fashion house announced their donation in clothes to the children from orphanages, in materials to the refugee women, thus enabling refugee mothers who are skilfull in sewing to provide their children with warm jumpers, caps and scarfs.

While this Press release was being closed, Fashion house PASSAGE also announced its donation in larger quantities of clothes for adults.
