30TH ANNIVERSARY OF HRH PRINCE GEORGE’S DEATH

HRH Crown Prince Aleksandar II and the Royal House of Karadjordjevic are reminding that today is 30 years since the decease of HRH Prince George, the eldest son of HM King Petar I, and the Crown Prince of Serbia from 1903 to 1908.

Prince George was a man of great personal courage and impulsive character, and in his late years was a popular figure among the citizens of Belgrade, along with other reasons as the only Karadjordjevic who did not have to leave his country.

Prince George and his wife Princess Radmila rest in the crypt of the endowment Church of Saint George in Oplenac, where the local priests served a memorial service today.

The Royal House with sadness and love remembers the late Prince George.
