HRH CROWN PRINCE ALEKSANDAR II VISITS BISHOP VASILIJE OF SREM

Belgrade, 22 October 2002 – HRH Crown Prince Aleksandar visited His Grace Vasilije, Bishop of Srem at the Bishop’s Court in Sremski Karlovci, after attending the celebration of the Humanitarian Fund “Privrednik” in Novi Sad.

Accompanying HRH Crown Prince Aleksandar II was His Grace Porfirije, Bishop of Jegar.

In a cordial conversation the Crown Prince and Bishops Vasilije and Porfirije expressed joint opinion on respect of all citizens regardless of their ethnic or religious origin, as well as of respect of religious freedom, human rights and democratic principles.
