TRH CROWN PRINCE ALEKSANDAR II AND PRINCESS KATHERINE DONATE TO VRSAC HEALTH CENTER

Belgrade, 24 October 2002 – TRH Crown Prince Aleksandar II and Crown Princess Katherine donated a dialysis machine to Vrsac Health Center today.

After the reception at the Town Hall, Their Royal Highnesses visited Health Center in Vrsac where they donated a dialysis machine, worth €16,300 to the director Dr. Dragoljub Cvetkovic.

The ceremony of donating was attended by Mr. Stupar, representative of “Hemofarm” company that participated as a donor in the humanitarian event organized by the Foundation of HRH Crown Princess Katherine this June.

On this occasion Princess Katherine said:

“I believe you know my husband Crown Prince Aleksandar and I are helping through many humanitarian activities and we are always happy when aid is directed where it is most needed.”

Dr. Djuric then warmly thanked Princess Katherine and “Hemofarm” company, pointing out that this donation will significantly make work easier for the staff, as well as the treatment of patients at dialysis ward.

Then Mr. Stupar addressed the present on behalf of “Hemofarm” company, and pointed out that “Hemofarm” company was well familiar with the difficult situation in our health system, and that it gladly answered the call to take part in the humanitarian program of Princess Katherine.

Dr. Dragica Tintor showed the guests the dialysis ward, where patients from Vrsac, Bela Crkva, Plandiste and Alibunar are treated.
